KPKP Dept. Ensures Equestrian Venue Free From Equine Disease

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. ensures Asian Games venue in Pulomas Equestrian, East Jakarta is equine disease-free.

"We already got equine disease-free predicate for Equestrian venue. This award is also declared in Europe," mentioned Darjamuni, Jakarta KPKP Dept. Head, Friday (8/3).

According to him, horse health in Equestrian venue becomes his department's responsibility towards Asian Games 2018 participants in line with Jakarta Governor's instruction, Anies Baswedan.

"We have done all targets by early July. While horse worthiness is one of the world animal health organization's requirements," he explained.

Equine disease-free predicate can be obtained due to zoning system at Pulomas Equestrian. This system applies three zones, which are Core Zone, Surveillance Zone and Protect Zone.

"Asian Games still becomes our main task since it is held to coincide with Eid al-Adha. But so far we have coordinated it," he affirmed.
